Business model innovations to build non-profit art organizations to respond to the current precarious living environment. More specifically, this paper proposes a new framework for innovation for nonprofit arts organizations called business model innovation for nonprofit arts organizations. The model is the result of doctoral research that includes several art institutions and non-profit art organizations in the United States, France, and China. Raising the revenue of nonprofit art institutions is crucial, and no art institution is exceptional, there is little literature in the study of actual fundraising strategies for art institutions, and research that focuses primarily on the ethics of revenue sources rather than best practices in other disciplines has always been problematic because the theory it tries to apply does not always apply. There is also little research on the dynamics of local income generation, so there is an urgent need for practical research on this topic, such as data from comparative analysis of sources of income. For this study, data were collected from art institutions such as Nature and the Arts Organization (USA), IMAJ-UNESCO Art Center (France), CGK-Contemporary Art Gallery Kunming, etc. Semi-structured interviews and revenue records of key employees of three representative arts organizations were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Several key findings highlight business model innovation and the direct and indirect benefits of business external partners, Value innovation, nonprofit art organization boundary collaboration is key to revenue and sustainability, and value identification also influences innovation and revenue generation. This study reinforces our knowledge of the economics of non-profit arts organizations. I believe that the sustainability of non-profit arts organizations needs to be combined with their own practices and cultural project innovations. Finally, I make some recommendations that organizational and technological innovation and value creation innovation can improve economic, market, and social performance, which will facilitate the practice and sustainable development of future non-profit arts organizations.Curricular : BBA/GE/MBA/PhDM Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28459 SIU Thesis. Long-Term CapacityAbstract: At present, the competition in automotive industry is highly competitive, plus, most of SMEs cannot survive by merely relying on their source of production. Hence, using contractor is considered an effective strategy for handling the competition. Therefore, we created a questionnaire researching on our target group, which included individuals involving in automotive parts industry. This is to study 1) factors that influence decision-making of SME entrepreneurs and executives to change their current manufacturing system to Flexible Automation System (FAS) by using outsourcing, as well as, 2) logics and aspects of entrepreneurs and executives who propose the idea of changing the current system to FAS to procure and create a model of FAS Maturity. We found that executives whom proceeded the process all by themselves required higher capital and they also had confidence that they could handle the changing of products easily and rapidly. Moreover, the integration in cost unit was also low. On the other hand, if they used outsourcing, no capital was needed. However, it was in exchange for a long period of planning and if there were any changes, they had to not affect overall supply chain of the contractor. Plus, the cost unit of this way was higher than the other mentioned. At the same time, we discovered that investment factors of entrepreneurs in the target group were in high level. When considering topic by topic, it showed that the main point was to recognize manufacturing policy that the government would support SMEs in any kinds of investment. For example, the industry policy of Thailand 4.0 and the S Curve direction have both direct and indirect effects on executives’ decision-making in seeking manufacturing involving FAS and it is found that government support have a direct effect in positive to long-term capacity and the statistical significance is at the level of 0.01 and path coefficient has the highest value at 0.785. For problems in this research, we surveyed the target group in the supply chain of automotive parts industry. The significant finding illustrated that factors that mostly affect entrepreneurs’ decision-making are competitive factors in quality, price, durability and quantity or flexibility of flexible automation system. However, an external factor that matters is Thailand’s 20-year strategy, which mentioned that the government will support automotive industry
As a result, this research found that executives should have standards to manage internal issues, such as improvement processes, before relying on any external factors. Thus, they can succeed in making a decision whether they need Flexible Automation System procurement outsourcing.
Structural equation model have Influencing to A Decision Making Model for outsourcing Flexible Automation System(FAS)in automotive Industry to SMEs Entrepreneurs and Executives in Thailand , found that the components of all 5 factors of latent variable the Process Improvement, Government Support, Long-Term Capacity ,Competitive Priority ,Adopting Flexible Automation and Confirmatory model of the variable question is consistent with the empirical data which can be considered from 2 = 275.34, df = 251, p-value = 0.13952, RMSEA = 0.018, GFI =0.936 และ AGFI = 0.911
In conclusion, every question has passed the criteria and can be used to analyze the SEM of the research. Abstract: In Thailand, there is no official standard to measure golfer satisfaction for golf tourism in Thailand. A strategic model of golfer satisfaction index represents a uniform system for evaluating, comparing, and improving golfer satisfaction within organizations and industries. The purpose of this study was to develop a strategic model for improving satisfaction of golf tourism in Thailand and identify any significant differences in golf tourists’ perceptions toward service quality, golf course image, perceived value and golfer satisfaction based on demographics.
This study utilized a convenience sampling method to collect data in six golf courses of Thailand. Questionnaires were given to each golf tourist at the reception area of the golf course. Each of six golf courses was allotted 200 questionnaires, which were distributed by field workers who invited golf tourists to participate in this study. From the 1,200 questionnaires distributed, 352 were usable. Golf tourists included 67% male and 33% female. Korean was the nationality of 33% of golf tourists with 19% from Japan, and 13% from Singapore.
This study used Structural Equation Modeling to test the hypotheses and relationships among variables in the proposed strategic model of golfer satisfaction index. In addition, this study used ANOVA to test for significant differences regarding service quality, golf course image, perceived value, and golfer satisfaction based on demographics of gender, nationality, age, education, and annual income.
Statements of golf tourists who responded to open-ended questions during the pilot study as well as the responses from qualitative research’ questions by experts in the golf tourism industry and university educators helped to clarify the meaning of items included in the structured questionnaire. When the items on the final questionnaire matched the top three attributes of the four constructs which were service quality, golf course image, perceived value, and golfer satisfaction of the qualitative research’ findings, it demonstrated that the items on the questionnaires were reliable and valid.
Results indicated that a modified strategic model of golfer satisfaction index provided a uniform means of assessing the golfer satisfaction of golf tourism in Thailand. For golf course owners and managers, this strategic model of golfer satisfaction index could be a useful tool for evaluating golfer satisfaction and would provide a significant complement to conventional improvements of golfer satisfaction.Curricular : BBA/MBA/PhDM Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28539 SIU Thesis. [LCSH]Research and developmentKeywords: Improvisation, Shared Mental Model, Innovation Performance, Research and Development staff Abstract: The effect of staff improvisation on their innovation performance wasn't clarified. This thesis draws on the emerging related literature and mixed research method to study R&D staff improvisation. The result of qualitative analysis identify the connotation of R&D staff improvisation. Responses from 348 staff in the high-tech enterprises were used to analyze the relationship between staff improvisation and firm innovation performance, as well as the moderating effect of shared mental models. Results of quantitative analysis indicate that R&D staff improvisation has a positive influence on innovation performance by allowing staff to respond to unexpected challenges through spontaneously behavior, creativity intention and utilizing available resource. Further, increasing degrees of team shared mental models (both assignment-based sharing and cooperation-based sharing) basically enhance this relationship by sharing other team member knowledge, confidence and by real-time interactions etc. The results offer guidance to managers to improve the innovation performance of enterprise. Moreover, the present paper provides directions for future research on improvisation. Future research is encouraged to investigate factors that may help organization to stimulate R&D staff improvisation for innovative. [LCSH]ManagementKeywords: Top management team; Top management team characteristics; R&D investment; Managerial Incentive Abstract: Innovation is the core driving force of social economic growth and enterprise operation and development. Managers play a key role in making investment decisions. Innovation enables enterprises to gain advantages in the competing market. However, it is very risky to evaluate the enterprise's innovation strategy only by relying on the the CEO. To be more precise, The CEO ought to communicate and collaborate with top management members to improve the sustainable development and innovation of the enterprise. Therefore, as the most influential group in an enterprise, the top management team has a crucial influence on the R&D investment behavior of the enterprise. As an important theory to study the top management team, the upper echelon theory points out that demographic variables such as age, gender, educational level, functional background and team size can well reflect some characteristics of the top management team, providing application conditions for the development of the top management team.
Finkelstein et al. (2009) pointed out top management team members often measure risks and benefits psychologically, and influence the strategic development direction and organizational behavior of enterprises. At the same time, considering the influence of executive compensation incentive and stock option incentive, this paper takes listed companies on GEM from 2009 to 2017 as research samples, obtaining data from CSMAR database, WIND database and annual report. The relationship between top management characteristics and R&D investment is empirically tested. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:
(1) Take indicators such as age, gender, professional background, education level and team size as proxy variables to measure the characteristics of top management team. It found out that the age and the proportion of female managers are negatively with the R&D investment. The professional background, educational level and the team size are positively with the R&D investment.
(2) Introduction of incentive policy, the moderating effect of executive incentive (compensation incentive and stock option incentive) on TMT characteristics and R&D investment behavior has been tested. The results show that the compensation incentive exerts positive moderating influence on the relationship between TMT characteristics and firm R&D investment.Curricular : BBA/GE/MBA/PhDM Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28434 SIU Thesis. However, there have not been many studies on the use of digital technology on secondhand and bric-a-brac markets. Secondhand and bric-a-brac market plays important roles in sustainable economic development as this type of markets are mostly concerned with smallest unit of business operators.
The objective of this research is to investigate factors influencing the use of digital technology by secondhand and bric-a-brac sellers and buyers at six major secondhand and bric-a-brac flea markets in Bangkok and surrounding provinces. A mixed methods research was conducted through surveys and in-depth interviews. The sample size of 413 for sellers and 425 for buyers was utilized for questionnaire surveys while twenty in-depth interviews were conducted for both sides. The Multiple Regression Analysis was utilized to uncover factors influencing the use of digital technology whereas Factor analysis was utilized to uncover unobserved relationship among factors.
The research selected TOE in integration with DOI and TAM as a theoretical basis for adopting seller conceptual framework while TAM in integration with Perceived Risk was utilized for buyer based on literature reviews.
The empirical evidence demonstrates that Pressure from competition, Innovativeness of business owner/manager and Ability of technology of business owner/manager were found to have significant positive relationship with adoption of digital technology by sellers. Competitive price and Ability to search for products easily were found to have significant positive relationship with adoption of digital technology while Delivery risk and Refund/return policy risk were found to have significant negative relationship with adoption of digital technology by buyers.
Factor analysis reveals unobserved correlations between factors for both sellers and buyers. [LCSH]OrganizationKeywords: Exploratory factor analysis, high-performance, organization Abstract: The purposes of this study were1) to learn the characteristics of NBTC high performance organization, 2) to consider the factors of high performance organization of NBTC, and 3) to suggest the theoretical model of the organization that is high performance organization in the NBTC. The population in this study was 240 people. Questionnaires were employed to collect data and the data was analyzed processing exploratory factor analysis by using the method of principal component analysis, using Varimax Method to rotate the element core perpendicularly.
The finding showed that:
1. In the overall, high level of the characteristics of high- performance organizations of NBTC was observed with mean and S.D. scores at 3.71 and 0.94 respectively, consisted of 1) the organizational structure with the highest average, followed by No. 2, knowledge management, No. 3) organizational culture, No. 4), technology, No. 5) Staff, No. 6) Management model and leadership, No. 7) Innovation process, No.8) Organization strategy, and No. 9) Resources respectively.
2. The results show that there are 5 factors which Eigen values between 2.662- 24.940 and therefore can describe the high-performance organization of the NBTC, consisting of Innovation Organization, Management and Personnel Development, Risk management, Organizational Culture, and Collaboration. Every factor has an Eigen value of more than 1.00 which can explain the cumulative variance equal to 50.68%. Each factor describes variance of 24.940, 19.946, 4.564, 3.138 and 2.662 respectively. The finding factors 1) The Innovation Organization has the most variable value. It shows that it affects the high performance of NBTC.

Thesis. [PhD.[Philosophy in Management]].-- Shinawatra University, 2022Languages : English (eng) Descriptors: [LCSH]Music festival Keywords: Music Festival, City Image, Perception of City Competitiveness, Xiamen City Abstract: Nowadays, music festival is an important way to improve the competitiveness of the city. From the perspective of consumer psychology, we need to study the relevance of music festival to the psychological perception of city competitiveness. In order to explore the impact of music festival on perception of city competitiveness. We surveyed 400 participants of the Xiamen Music Festival in Xiamen city. We mainly used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) methods to test research hypotheses. Firstly, before the formal survey, we modified and established the measurement scale through in-depth interview and exploratory factor analysis (EFA). Secondly, the measurement scale was further tested by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), reliability analysis and validity analysis. Finally, all the research hypotheses were verified by SEM.
The results indicated that music festival positively impacts on the city image. Music festival also positively impacts on perception of city competitiveness. City image mediates relationship between music festival and perception of city competitiveness. According to the above results, the study recommended as follows. First of all, the city manager and the organizers of the music festival should optimize the music festival image, increase the music festival attraction, integrate music festival, and create the brand effect of the music festival. Secondly, we should strengthen music festival communication and expand music festival influence. Thirdly, strengthen the connection between music festival and city. Fourthly, continue to make effort to maintain and create city music image. Finally, the music festival should seize the opportunity to bravely meet challenges brought by COVID-19.Curricular : BBA/GE/MBA/PhDM Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28458 SIU Thesis.
