Abstract: Now a day, Myanmar new government encourages the private manufacturing sector especially basic goods manufacturing, to produce high quality product at reasonable price. Therefore, the numbers of private manufacturing firms are gradually increasing in Myanmar free market economy. Among these manufacturing firms, book manufacturing industry is producing essential product for human beings especially students and others who are involving in the learning organization.
My research will base on the ideas of how that business can effectively utilize its operations management activities to enjoy higher revenue, to produce good quality products and to gain cost advantage of “Ubrand” book manufacturing firm, a well-known brand in book manufacturing industry.
Descriptive research method has been mainly used , and also qualitative research method.
Qualitative Research is primarily exploratory research. It is used to gain an understanding of underlying reasons, opinions, and motivations. The approach is a general way of thinking about conducting qualitative research. It describes, either explicitly or implicitly, the purpose of the qualitative research, the role of the researcher(s), the stages of research, and the method of data analysis.
Qualitative data is information about qualities; information that can't actually be measured. Some examples of qualitative data are the softness of your skin, the grace with which you run, and the color of your eyes. However, try telling Photoshop you can't measure color with numbers.
Qualitative Research Design is generally based on a social constructivism perspective. Research problems become research questions based on prior research experience. Sample sizes can be as small as one. Data collection involves interview, observation, and/or archival (content) data.
Data were collected by in-depth interview with operations mangers of respective departments. The objectives of the study are to analyze the product design, process design, quality management, location, layout, supply chain and maintenance of “Ubrand” book manufacturing firm.
The product design of “Ubrand” book manufacturing firm was established with the ideas and concepts from customers, competitors, and supplier. Moreover, this paper discovered that the firm is weak in practicing systematic quality control.Curricular : BBA/MBA Record link: http://libsearch.mru.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=27598 SIU IS. Specifically, the paper examines the phenomena in three separate locations within Thailand. The paper will also review the literature surrounding road safety in general, road safety for motorcyclists, proper helmet use, Thai acts of parliament aimed at motorcyclists, and the degree to which helmet use is enforced or policed in Thailand.
Experts posit that road fatalities, and the serious debilitating injuries caused by road traffic accidents, can impact a nation’s GDP by as much as 5%. Perhaps even more importantly, especially in the context of a developing country, is the direct impact to families who lose their prime bread-winner or wage-earner. This loss may either be permanent, as in the case of a fatality, or extended over a protracted period of time, where families find themselves having to care for severely injured members. In the latter case, the requirement for care is often long-term, with little in the way of insurance or medical benefits to offset the burden.
It is hoped that a study of motorcycle related road traffic fatalities may identify or highlight interventions or strategies that could be employed to mitigate the road toll in Thailand.
