Out of 28 commercial banks, 6 commercial banks are used as sample for the study. Self- administered questionnaire is distributed to 150 respondents in order to collect the data. Independent variable used in the study are service quality, behavior of employees, customer database, relationship through solving problem, physical environment, social network and dependent variable used in the study is customer satisfaction. The study focuses on Pearson correlation and regression analysis in order to analyze the data. The study reveals that service quality, employee behavior, physical environment, customer data base, social network interaction shows positive relationship with dependent variable but among all the independent variable employee behavior and social network interaction has positive significant relationship with customer satisfaction. On the other hand customer problem solving problem shows negative but insignificant relationship with customer satisfaction. The result indicates that good employee behavior leads to higher customer satisfaction. Similarly, increase in social network interaction leads to increase in customer satisfaction. Primary data were collected and analyzed to obtain more concrete results from this research. For the primary data collection, a questionnaire was developed having few demographic variable and seven independent macro factors; SPERTIL and investment decision was taken as the dependent variable. For data collection 200 questionnaires were distributed to the investors within the Kathmandu valley. Among 200 questionnaires distributed, 160 responses were collected back. Of which 135 were from the individual investors and 25 for the institutional investors. Then, the obtained data were arranged through the MS-Excel and analyzed using the SPSSv23. Collected primary data were analyzed with the help of descriptive, cross tabulation , independent sample t test, and One way ANOVA.
The major findings of the primary data analysis showed that the independent factors under seven macro factors considered for the study has insignificant relationship with investment decision. Among 23 independent variables under seven macro factors considered for the study almost all the factors are responsible for influencing the investment decision for the investors. Between demographic factors and the SPERTIL factors, the result varied.Curricular : BBA/MBA Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=27533 SIU IS. The study examines the relationship between the independent variables: family size, working hour, age of children, income level and stress level, and the dependent variable: work life balance. The study was conducted among 62 dual earner couples working at various commercial banks in Kathmandu, Nepal. Thus, there were 124 responses in total used for analysis. The study shows that stress has a negative and significant relationship with work life balance. While, working hour is positively and significantly related to work life balance. The other variables family size, income level and age of children all have negative and insignificant relationship with the dependent variable. The paper used the statistical analysis tools Pearson correlation coefficient and descriptive analysis for analyzing the data collected through the distribution of survey questionnaire. The study finds that commercial banks in Nepal need to pay special attention to the aspects of working hours and stress level of their employees in order to help them balance their work life. Sustainable Building Rating Scheme
BREEAM In-Use
LEED EB:OMAbstract: With increasing building stock worldwide, sustainable building rating (or assessment) schemes for the operation and maintenance of existing buildings are becoming a significant part for sustainable building development. By supporting stakeholders’ effort in improving their existing buildings to become more sustainable, employed strategies of such rating schemes are expected to significantly contribute to the global demand for achieving improved sustainable building targets. While currently only two internationally recognized rating schemes for worldwide application exist, namely BREEAM In-Use (Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method) and LEED EB:OM (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Building Operation and Maintenance), the here presented research is focusing on their comparison to better understand their similarities, differences, and overall benefits for the sustainable development of existing commercial buildings in Thailand. Considering the diverse nature of individual assessment criteria, this study of two rating schemes is divided into three parts: A quantitative analysis based on comparable criteria of performance and scheme contribution in sustainable benefits, implementation plan and cost (capital cost and maintenance cost); a qualitative analysis based on sustainable and user oriented benefits; and an analysis of non-comparative criteria of sustainable benefits, implementation plan, and cost.
Results found that in terms of quantitative analysis, BREEAM In-Use has a marginal advantage when compared to LEED EB:OM. Considering the qualitative analysis, BREEAM In-Use indicates higher benefits in 18 out of 27 comparable criteria, LEED EB:OM demonstrating higher benefits in 7 comparable criteria, and the remaining criteria having equal benefits. When analyzing comparable criteria sector by sector, BREEAM In-Use has potential benefits on water, material, waste and transportation sectors, LEED EB:OM has potential benefits on pollution sector. Considering the total rating criteria of 55% of non-comparative criteria, about 43.33% constitute for BREEAM In-Use and 11.67% for LEED EB:OM. With both rating scheme being close in their overall performance, one suggestion for improvement is the combination of individual categories to reach higher sustainable benefits on building stock.Curricular : BBA/BSMT/MBA/MSMT Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=27544 SIU Thesis.
