Li Xiongcai Art Research ProjectAbstract: If a national museum represents the country's past and civilization, then a university art museum represents the University's heritage and aesthetic heights. The Lingnan Painting School Memorial Hall, as one of the museum groups of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, was established in 1991. Different from other professional museums, the Lingnan Painting School Memorial Hall chose a different path and made contributions to the local art history. For many years, the hall has explored the collection, research, and teaching resources of the Lingnan Painting School. The most representative case is the "Li Xiongcai Art Research Project" that started in 2007.
In the era of the global art museum explosion, university art museums need to think about independent operating models. The research objectives of this thesis are to investigate the situation of university art museums in the relevant documents of the Chinese government, collect and analyze the operating systems' data of typical university art museums, and use the Li Xiongcai Art Research Project as a case to showcase the advantages of a university art museum's operating system.
The samples were selected using purposive sampling of non-probability sampling method. The instruments of this study were document research and textual analysis.
Population And Sample Scope: In the years 2010-2021, 124 documents were officially mentioned on the website of the Chinese government. Network data of 5 domestic university art museums in China in the years 2019-2021 were also collected. Data related to the Li Xiongcai Art Research Project, including the positioning of the Lingnan Painting School Memorial Hall, planning, process, and results of the Li Xiongcai art research project were collected for the years 2007-2012. Additionally, 7014 different theme data were screened and combined.
Results: Although the Chinese government provided economic support, defined concepts, guided collection and exhibition, and attempted to conduct quantitative statistics for university art museums, the complex situation made it difficult to accurately count the data of university art museums. Based on their long history, many university art museums in China had a higher number of collections than other art museums established later. The data showed that five university art galleries made efforts in various aspects of collection, research, and education. The successful model of the Li Xiongcai Art Research Project, which integrated collection, research, and education, could be replicated and had a long-lasting and widespread influence.
Conclusions and recommendations: Despite the efforts made by Chinese government departments to support various aspects of university art museums, university art museums should actively seek more government support. While university art museums have made continuous contributions to collection, research, and education for many years, their primary service is teaching, and they should lead public education alongside elite education. The operational model of Li Xiongcai's art research demonstrates the advantages of the Lingnan Painting School Memorial Hall. The university art museum should be able to produce more new knowledge based on the experience of the Li Xiongcai Art Research Project.Curricular : BALA/GE/MTEIL/PhDSCS Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28652 SIU Thesis. " and then to purpose the model to improve scientific researcher's improvisational behavior and the effect on their innovative performance. The respondents of this study may have a regional bias, and the four variables of researchers' heterogeneity (age, gender, industry experience, and team tenure) are relatively few, which may lead to incomplete findings. Therefore, future research will further clarify the dimensional structure of improvisational behavior, and other factors in order to better guide management practices. [LCSH]Research and developmentKeywords: Improvisation, Shared Mental Model, Innovation Performance, Research and Development staff Abstract: The effect of staff improvisation on their innovation performance wasn't clarified. This thesis draws on the emerging related literature and mixed research method to study R&D staff improvisation. The result of qualitative analysis identify the connotation of R&D staff improvisation. Responses from 348 staff in the high-tech enterprises were used to analyze the relationship between staff improvisation and firm innovation performance, as well as the moderating effect of shared mental models. Results of quantitative analysis indicate that R&D staff improvisation has a positive influence on innovation performance by allowing staff to respond to unexpected challenges through spontaneously behavior, creativity intention and utilizing available resource. Further, increasing degrees of team shared mental models (both assignment-based sharing and cooperation-based sharing) basically enhance this relationship by sharing other team member knowledge, confidence and by real-time interactions etc. The results offer guidance to managers to improve the innovation performance of enterprise. Moreover, the present paper provides directions for future research on improvisation. Future research is encouraged to investigate factors that may help organization to stimulate R&D staff improvisation for innovative. in Geriatric Nursing > Vol.38 No.4 (Jul-Aug) 2017 [10/09/2017] . - p.325-333Keywords: Residential care, Older adults, Mealtimes, Qualitative research Abstract: Addressing problems associated with malnutrition in care home residents has been prioritized by researchers and decision-makers. This review aimed to better understand factors that may contribute to malnutrition by examining the attitudes, perceptions and experiences of mealtimes among care home residents and staff. Five databases were searched from inception to November 2015: Medline, Embase, PsychINFO, AMED, and the Cochrane Database. Forward and backward citation checking of included articles was conducted. Titles, abstracts, and full texts were screened independently by two reviewers and quality was assessed using the Wallace criteria. Thematic analysis of extracted data was undertaken. Fifteen studies were included in the review, encompassing the views and opinions of a total of 580 participants set in nine different countries. Four main themes were identified: (1) organizational and staff support, (2) resident agency, (3) mealtime culture, and (4) meal quality and enjoyment. Organizational and staff support was an over-arching theme, impacting all aspects of the mealtime experience. Mealtimes are a pivotal part of care home life, providing structure to the day and generating opportunities for conversation and companionship. Enhancing the mealtime experience for care home residents needs to take account of the complex needs of residents while also creating an environment in which individual care can be provided in a communal setting. Title : Dance for Health : An Intergenerational Program to Increase Access to Physical Activity Material Type: printed text Publication Date: 2018 Article on page: p.29-34 Languages : English (eng) Original Language : English (eng)
in Journal of Pediatric Nursing > Vol.37 No.6 (Nov-Dec) 2017 [03/29/2018] . - p.29-34Keywords: Intergenerational,Physical activity,Exercise,Dance,Community based participatory research, Community engagement. Abstract: Purpose
The purpose of this study was to evaluate Dance for Health, an intergenerational program to increase access to physical activity in an underserved, high risk urban community.
Design and Methods
Dance for Health was developed using community-based participatory research methods and evaluated using an observational study design. The program entailed two hour line dancing sessions delivered by trained dance instructors in the neighborhood recreation center. The weekly sessions were delivered for one month in the spring and one month in the fall from 2012–2016. Nurse practitioner students mentored local high school students to assess outcomes: achievement of target heart rate, Borg Rating of Perceived Exertion, number of pedometer steps during dance session, Physical Activity Enjoyment Scale, and adiposity. Analytic methods included descriptive statistics and mixed effects models.
Results
From 2012–2016, 521 participants ranging from 2–79 years attended Dance for Health. Approximately 50% of children and 80% of adults achieved target heart rate. Achievement of target heart rate was not related to perceived exertion, though it was related to pedometer steps in adults. All participants rated the program highly for enjoyment. There was no change in adiposity.
Conclusions
Dance for Health demonstrated high levels of community engagement and enjoyment. It led to adequate levels of exertion, particularly for adults. Our evaluation can inform program refinement and future intergenerational physical activity programs.Link for e-copy: http://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-pediatric-nursing/ Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=27619 [article] Dance for Health : An Intergenerational Program to Increase Access to Physical Activity [printed text] . - 2018 . - p.29-34.

Methodology.Class number: WY105 C810 2013 Abstract: y Due to ethical issues surrounding data collection in the field of healthcare, students are no longer able to undertake their own empirical research. This book is written for nursing and midwifery students completing a research project based on reviewing published literature and using secondary data. It de-mystifies the concept of literature review methodology and supports students writing up their dissertation, thesis or work-based learning project. The book provides step-by-step guidance on: identifying a research problem; qualitative and quantitative research design; literature searching; ethical considerations; analysis of secondary data, and writing your dissertation. Through its discussion of non-empirical methods, the book also prepares students for future empirical research by providing examples of best practice in healthcare research. The book is essential reading for undergraduates and postgraduates who want to succeed in their nursing or midwifery research project Curricular : BNS Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=23645 Doing a research project in nursing and midwifery : a basic guide to research using the literature review methodology [printed text] / Comerasamy, Huguette, Author ; Siu, Carroll, Author . - 1st ed. . - London ; Thousand Oaks, Calif. : SAGE, 2013 . - xvi, 196 p. : ill ; 24 cm.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to engage patients with heart failure (HF) to assess if changes are needed in a research study design, methods and outcomes when transferring interventions used in urban/community hospitals to rural hospital settings. A qualitative structured interview was conducted with eight patients with a diagnosis of HF admitted to two rural hospitals. Patients validated the study design, measures and outcomes, but identified one area that should be added to the study protocol, symptom experience. Results validated that the intervention, methods and outcomes for the planned study were important, but modifications to the study protocol resulted. Patient engagement in the conceptualization of research is essential to guide patient-centered studies.
