[LCSH]TransportationKeywords: Customer’s satisfaction, SERVQUAL, Public transport Abstract: Road passenger transport is now recognized as one of the most important means of facilitating movement of people in the country. Urban sprawl, migration of people, travel demand has made people highly dependent on private motorize travel. Due to these issues, the main objective of the study was to assess factors influencing customer’s satisfaction in urban public transport in Nepal; taking Sajha Yatayat as a case study particularly inside Kathmandu valley. The research methodology was designed to collect data from 400 respondents. The data were collected using Google form. Collected data was analyzed using statistical software. The data were analyzed using descriptive and regression analysis. The SERVQUAL scale consisting of five dimensions was administered to measure the customer’s perception on service quality. A survey was conducted among the passengers (customers) who were travelling by using Sajha Yatayat public transport services. The study concluded that the service quality delivery by Sajha Yatayat had a positive impact towards customer’s satisfaction. In other words, these three dimensions, Reliability, Assurance and Responsiveness, were found to be good predictors of customer satisfaction. In general, people of Kathmandu valley are benefited with the service quality delivery by Sajha Yatayat. Logistics and transportation for power transformer.Abstract: In transportation of heavyweight and oversized cargo, e.g. 100 tons Power Transformer, from the factory to a final destination can be a complicated task which involves planning, transporting, and arrival unloading and installing processes. This research developed a new end-to-end logistic management algorithm, HOCTA, supporting the transportation of heavyweight and oversized shipment in the context of time, location personals, communication and the business regulations involved from the process of disassembling, routing survey, shipment preparation, real-time management of transport to the destination, unloading and assembling the transformer. This logistic management system is to help reduce the mistakes preparation and execution. The architecture and the HOCTA software support the process planning and monitoring the travel on main route, providing context information to avoid obstacle during the transport.
Traffic condition, thieves and coordination between the point of origin and destination. In the event that the unforeseeable circumstance occurred, secondary route will be taken. The context will provide useful information for the shipper in decision making whether to use the original or secondary route and once the shipment has reached the destination, the business rules and regulation involved during the inspection, the process of unloading shipments, storage and the supervision of installation process according to the company standards.Curricular : BSCS/MSIT/PhDT Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=27967 SIU Thesis. This study is aimed to find out suitable econmics measures under this concept to sustainable solve transportation problems in Bangkok which is ranged ampng the worst in the world. The study is mainly theoretical research yet includes some examples of good practice from other countries Furthermore it also examined the feasibility of the proposed measure by conducting a survey on opinion of Bangkok's residents. For this study the samples are Graduate students of National Institute of Decvelopment Administration, to whom could be referred as middle calss of Bangkok's Society and come from various areas in around Bangkok. This research suggests the transportation direct demand management of area pricing scheme comprised of three main measure: 1. increase annual license plate tax to all private motor vehicle registered in Bangkok 2. charge fees for private motor vehicles registered outsidee Bangkok whenthey enter or use Bangkok sres and 3. subsidy to public trasport systems especially public buses. These measure are different from the conventional supplyside management or indirect management that seeen to relieve the problems only temporarily. The survey results are somewhat satisfactory (the supporters for proposed measures equal to 50.6 % disagreement equal to 40.5 % not sure equal to 8.9% because 91.7 % of the target group is from families that have one or more than one private cars and their primary mode of travel is pravate car 55.0 % Curricular : BSMT/MSMT Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=23175 An application of economics instruments = การประยุกต์ใช้เครื่องมือทางเศรษฐศาสตร์ เพื่อช่วยแก้ไขปัญหาการคมนาคมขนส่งในกรุงเทพมหานคร : to a Solution to transportation problems in Bangkok [printed text] / Kokiat Na Nakhonphanom, Author . - [S.l.] : Graduate Development Office, National Institute of Development Administration, 1998 . - xi, 122 p. : ill. ; 30 cm.
