Abstract: The study examines the crucial factors that govern the trading behavior of investors in Nepali Stock Market. The trading patterns and behavior of investors are beyond the boundary of explanation, done by the numerical figures of financial statement. This study, thus, has been conducted to analyze and evaluate the core behavioral components and its impact on trade of stocks in Nepalese context. The study intends to highlight the related factors and examine its significance.
This study has considered “trading experience and personality trait” components as the dimensions of behavioral biases. In terms of objective, the present study is a fundamental research and based on the primary data, it is a survey-descriptive study. Survey questionnaire was used to collect required data for this study. Obtained data from the questionnaire was analyzed using inferential statistical methods using SPSS software. Presented hypotheses in this study have been examined using Pearson coefficient of correlation and multiple regression method.
