Drug.Class number: QV4 L729 2014 Abstract: "With its colorful, user-friendly format, Pharmacology and the Nursing Process, 7th Edition provides students with all the pharmacology information they need - and no more than they need - to administer drugs safely and effectively. Increased emphasis on the nursing process and prioritization focuses on the most essential assessments, nursing diagnoses, interventions, and evaluations. Thoroughly updated drug information is clear and concise, highlighting the most commonly used drugs, and includes a unique focus on safety-oriented QSEN competencies. Hundreds of full-color illustrations show how drugs work in the body and depict key steps in drug administration. Written by expert pharmacology educators and clinicians, this bestselling textbook employs innovative, practical learning aids to help your students prepare for success on the NCLEXฎ Examination and in nursing practice."--Publisher's website Contents note: The nursing process and drug therapy -- Pharmacologic principles -- Lifespan considerations -- Cultural, legal, and ethical considerations -- Medication errors: preventing and responding -- Patient education and drug therapy -- Over-the-counter drugs and herbal and dietary supplements -- Gene therapy and pharmacogenomics -- Photo atlas of drug administration -- Analgesic drugs -- General and local anesthetics -- Central nervous system depressants and muscle relaxants -- Central nervous system stimulants and related drugs -- Antiepileptic drugs -- Antiparkinson drugs -- Psychotherapeutic -- Substance abuse -- Adrenergic drugs -- Adrenergic-blocking drugs -- Cholinergic drugs -- Cholinergic-blocking drugs -- Antihypertensive drugs -- Antianginal drugs -- Heart failure drugs -- Antidysrhythmic drugs -- Coagulation modifier drugs -- Antilipemic drugs -- Diuretic drugs -- Fluids and electrolytes -- Pituitary drugs -- Thyroid and antithyroid drugs -- Antidiabetic drugs -- Adrenal drugs -- Women's health drugs -- Men's health drugs -- Antihistamines, decongestants, antitussives, and expectorants -- Respiratory drugs -- Antibiotics part 1 -- Antibiotics part 2 -- Antiviral drugs -- Antitubercular drugs -- Antifungal drugs -- Antimalarial, antiprotozoal, and anthelmintic drugs -- Antiinflammatory and antigout drugs -- Antineoplastic drugs part 1: cancer overview and cell cycle-specific drugs -- Antineoplastic drugs part 2: cell cycle-nonspecific and miscellaneous drugs -- Biologic response-modifying and antirheumatic drugs -- Immunosuppressant drugs -- Immunizing drugs and biochemical terrorism -- Acid-controlling drugs -- Bowel disorder drugs -- Antiemetic and antinausea drugs -- Vitamins and minerals -- Anemia drugs -- Nutritional supplements -- Dermatologic drugs -- Ophthalmic drugs -- Otic drugs.-- Curricular : BNS Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=23548 Pharmacology and the nursing process [printed text] / Lilley, Linda Lane, Author ; Collins, Shelly Rainforth, Author ; Snyder, Julie S., Author . - 7th ed. . - Amsterdam : Elsevier, 2014 . - x, 973 p. : ill. Study AchievementAbstract: This descriptive research had main objective to study Leisure Time Behavior of Nursing Student in School of Nursing, Shinawatra University. Data collected from 138 nursing student from 2nd, 3rd and 4th year, who had CGPA from last semester of academic year 2015 and registration in academic year 2016, by using questionnaire.
Data analysis done owing to research objectives by using computer analysis program and using Descriptive Statistics:- Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation. Used Spearman’s Coefficient of Rank Correlation to show relationships of variations.
The results revealed that
1) The nursing students had leisure time behavior of all 4 aspects (personal time, social time, learning time and part time jobs) between moderate level to low level. The means of personal time behavior, social time behavior, learning time behavior and part time jobs are 1.42, 1.52, 1.53 and 0.99 respectively. The mean of time management behavior is 1.78
2) The correlations between some aspects of leisure time behavior :- personal time, learning time, part time jobs and CGPA were positive but not significant. The level of correlation coefficient were 0 .024, 0.009, 0.053 respectively. The Spearman’s Coefficient of Rank Correlations showed negative correlation coefficient level at - 0.005 in relationship between social time and CGPA and not significant.
3) The relationship between time management behavior and CGPA was positive correlation at the correlation coefficient level 0.259 and significant at the 0.01 levelCurricular : BBA/MBA/PhDM Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=26755 SIU SS.
