Working EnvironmentAbstract: This study investigates the relationships between working environment and employees’ engagement using the Royal Thai Police Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) as a case. Survey questionnaires were used to collect data from the police officers at TCSD. One-way ANOVA and multiple Regressions were used to analyze data and to test hypotheses.
The findings from this research indicated that there is a significant relationship between the working environment and attitudes of the police officer, employee attitudes and job satisfaction, and between attitudes and personal performance. The findings also revealed that the officers most concern on good relationships with supervisors and colleagues. They agreed that care from supervisors and superiors have most influence on their attitude toward working environment. The officers are high satisfied with working hours and agreed that relationship with colleagues and supervisors lead them to job satisfaction. The findings also indicated that the officers at TCSD are proactive officers since the most important factor for them is to be ready for the job and assignment. Finally, they agreed that their success in high performance come from good relationships among co-workers and care from supervisors and well equipment and tools, as a result, the respondent officers are willing to remain working at TCSD and do not want to be transferred out of the division.
