[LCSH]EmployeesAbstract: The present study was conducted to meet the requirement of Master in Business Administration (MBA) program of Shinawatra University. The main purpose of conducting the present research was to determine the overall level of employee job satisfaction and participation in commercial banks of Nepal as an applied research.
The present research was conducted by using quantitative method followed by exploratory, descriptive and causal designs. In order to make the present research more pragmatic and methodological age, gender, as gender, educational level of attainment, length of work, position and department were considered as unit of analyses. Sample size of 77 employees was used to conduct the present research. Samples were selected by using stratified random sampling method. Questionnaire tool was used to conduct the survey whereby the collected data were analyzed, presented and used to produce key findings about perceived level of employee job satisfaction.
After the analysis of the data, the key findings of the present study revealed that employees at commercial banks perceive operational level of job satisfaction. They are satisfied at operational level -- slightly lacking for claiming it at exemplary level so still there is some room for improvement for commercial banks to achieve full satisfaction at an exemplary level.
Among the five factors of employee job satisfaction and participation as dependent variable observed through the present research, the employees were reported to be highly satisfied in respect with conduciveness of the coworkers and supervision, whereas they reported to be the least satisfied with the rewards and benefits provided to them.
Also the five factors work environment, performance appraisal system and advancement, supervisor role, rewards and benefits, and coworkers were found to be highly correlated with the overall level of employee job satisfaction and participation.Curricular : BBA/MBA Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=27380 SIU IS. Regression AnalysisAbstract: Employee satisfaction has been one of the crucial factors in organizational performance. Diversities in human resources have added challenges to the managers. Thus, Managers required to identify the determinants of employee satisfaction and estimate their impact on organizational performance.
The purpose of this study is to explore the link between employee satisfaction and organizational performance and to determine if there is an empirically provable relationship between these two factors, and the intensity of this relationship. Empirical research was conducted on a research sample of 300 employees of NIC Asia ,among 1595 total population size. A structure questionnaire was used for data collection. The present researcher proposes convenience sampling technique to execute the overall sampling for the purpose of primary data collection. Both primary and secondary data were used for the research. Similarly, regression and correlation had been used to show the close linkage between employee satisfaction and organization performance.
Data was collected through self administered questionnaires that included varieties of questions such as single response questions and Likert scale questions. Data collected through the questionnaire was analyzed statistically by using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). It was then summarized using tables.
The results of this study show the existence of a clear link between employee’s job satisfaction and organizational performance in both directions. Detailed analysis showed that the connection between employee satisfaction and organizational performance is stronger than the connection between organizational performance and employee satisfaction. It could be stated that employee satisfaction determines organizational performance, rather than organizational performance determining job satisfaction.
Accordingly, this thesis has indeed helped the present researcher to learn more about the importance of employee satisfaction to any organization to lead in success mainly concerning towards service organization.Curricular : BBA/MBA Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=27515 SIU IS. Management’s mission is to get people together to accomplish corporate goals and objectives by using available resources efficiently and effectively. This study is quantitative in nature and aimed to find out the relationship between above mentioned variables and employees’ performance in commercial banks of Nepal as a sample based on 190 employees.
The study will be analyzed by applying regression analysis using SPSS software because there are 5 independent variables and their affects have to be seen on the performance of the employees which is the sole dependent variable. For this purpose data was collected from 20 banks of Nepal with the research sample consisted of 190 employees working at different commercial banks, where questionnaires designed by the researcher were used to analyze the factors affecting employee performance.
The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the association between different organizational factors and employee performance in commercial banks of Nepal and to investigate existing literature and theory in order to initially construct a conceptual framework of factors affecting employee performance. The results of the study revealed in a specific case and researcher concluded that among 5 above-mentioned independent variables, there are 3 factors including organizational culture, motivation and working environment have positive relationship with employee performance.Curricular : BBA/MBA Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=27410 SIU IS.
