Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL).Abstract: Computer-assisted language learning [CALL]is effective for enhancing language learning in EFL classrooms but few studies have investigated how CALL develops learner autonomy particularly through an innovative project-based classrooms instruments included an overall pretest and posttest item-by-item pretests and posttest portfolios a questionnaire an interview and an observation. The statistical analysis used in this study was a-test. The results of the study have revealed these findings. The learners' overall and item-by-item posttest scores significantly increased from the pretest scores and they were fully responsible for and actively involed in their learning in all activities. It could be concluded that CALL fostered learner autonomy successfully. Pedagogicalle CALL has proved to be motivating tool foe fostering learner autonomy in the Thai context.
