The research instrument was a semi-constructed questionnaire. The data was collected from 249 music lecturers from 12 music institutes in Shanxi province using purposive sampling methods and in-depth interview. The sample data is processed using statistical software, including reliability test, descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, ANOVA, multiple linear regression analysis, Sobel test.
The findings revealed that (1) Non-material motivators were significantly related to Employee engagement at the statistically significance 0.05 level. (2)Non-material motivators were significantly related to Work affect at the statistically significance 0.05 level. (3) Work affect were significantly related to Employee engagement at the statistically significance 0.05 level.
