KWL-Plus | Abstract: | The purpose of this study is finding the result of using KWL-PLUS Technique on Developing English Reading Comprehension in Classroom Teaching: 8TH Grade Students (Mattayomsuksa II) in Suksanari School, Bangkok, in which I am who is an English Teaching think that teaching English in the class can enhance the reading comprehension skill for the students. Firstly, the students were tested by pretest. Secondly, they were taught by using KWL-PLUS technique, do some exercises and worksheets. And finally, they were tested by posttest.
The result had shown that the student had the different between pretest and posttest. So, it means that teaching by using KWL-PLUS technique can develop their reading comprehension skill.
According to the students’ reading comprehension skill development, teacher have learned that KWL-PLUS technique can help them to question themselves what they know, what things that they want to know, things that they have learned after reading and in the last mention is they can summarize the who story by using KWL-PLUS: SUMMARIZE MAPPING that is the real improvement for students.
