Huai kwangAbstract: The purpose of this study was to determine and explain the effect of a declining of Chinese tourists by suppressing zero-dollar tour to the levels of confidents in local business sector from October 2016 until Now. The first part was the quantitative research to find the relationships between the number of Chinese tourists during October to December 2016 that affected in business operation in local business sectors such as hotels, local shops, cuisines, travelling company, and night club. The second part was the qualitative research to find the relationship between the entrepreneur’s perspective in their business management sectors and the degree of confidential level to repression. StakeholdersAbstract: The tourism industry in Thailand is a significant economic generator due to the increased number of tourists, facilities, revenue and accommodation. It is expected to be a substantial portion of GDP. In addition, the tourism industry provides career opportunities and spreads prosperity throughout the regions, especially Chang Island where there are many tourist attractions. The tourism industry in Chang Island has become an important area, because the major benefit of tourism is an income creation and creation of the jobs. Most of the competition in tourism focus on tourists’ recognition and remember their place uniquely. It is very important to determine the destination identity while taking decisions for strategic marketing of tourism destination. Most tourists will decisively select the tourism destination from their memorize or recognize the destination identity. That is why the perceived of destination identity should be another topic to highlight. The purpose of this study aims to gain an insight into the real situation to explore the perception of the sender side of Chang Island’s stakeholders. This can help the researcher to identify key issues that allow for the suitable development of a suitable guideline of the destination identity. A qualitative analysis of data collected in this study provided a grounded theory, to support the perception of the sender side of Chang Island’s stakeholders.
