O-Net TestAbstract: The O-Net scores of Thai learners were disappointing. A study of curriculums was an attempt to find the solution to this problem. This study therefore analyzed a the basic English curriculums with two specific objectives which were to: 1) describe and compare different types of curriculum on language learning and 2) describe and compare different types of curriculum on language skills achievement. The different types of curriculum and a national test of English achievement under analysis in this study included Basic Education Core Curriculum, School Curriculums and O-Net Test. The curriculums of three schools purposively selected included Assumption College Primary Section School, Wat Thungkru Puengsaianusorn School, and Roong-Aroon School. The results of this study revealed that the curriculums had fewer effects on English learning and language skills achievement than classroom processes and methodology. Future inquiry should replicate this present study with other schools in these types.
