[LCSH]ExperienceKeywords: Choir, Experience, Perceived value, Red memory, Elderly Abstract: As one of the most important social activities, chorus has a diverse participant population. Among these individuals, a social choir dominated by the elderly has developed. Prior research has focused on the subjective experiences of chorus members, such as their physiology, psychology, and social well-being, among others. However, few empirical studies have examined the development of individual experience and mental state. Based on experiential learning theory and the SOR model, this study developed a model of the interaction of psychological factors in the choral experience of older adults, including the antecedents and outcomes of various experiential phases. The objective is to investigate the evolutionary process of the psychological states of senior adults in relation to their experiences and to provide a theoretical framework for choral singing research.
A questionnaire was used to capture data for this quantitative analysis-based study. Participants were senior choir members from Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. In addition, a sample of 571 questionnaires was statistically analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) to assess the validity of the hypotheses and models in the study. The nonparametric percentile Bootstrap method was used to investigate the indirect and mediating effects based on this. Finding shows, the indirect effects of environmental stimuli, cognitive resonance, affective resonance, and satisfaction on "Red memory" were substantial. In addition, we discovered a chain-mediating impact between red memory and cognitive resonance, affective resonance, satisfaction as well as behavioral intention (Effect value = 0.001), which totally verified the hypothesis constructed of the study. The research employed a method of cross-disciplinary analysis that was both innovative and conducive to the study of choral activities, aging groups, and experiential learning theory. Moreover, the study developed the application of experiential theory in the field of choral research by empirical investigation (i.e., choral experience theory), bridging the theoretical gap in music research. The findings will assist senior choir managers in developing and implementing choral experience- oriented service strategies to improve the quality of the choral experience, increase the contentment of choir members, and generate positive red memories.Curricular : BALA/GE/MTEIL Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28665 SIU Thesis. [LCSH]Piano musicKeywords: Baroque key music, Performance style, Harpsichord, Paino, Comparison of performance versions, Abstract: The Baroque period was the first peak of western keyboard music, with the emergence of various forms of keyboard instruments, among which the harpsichord was the most representative, and gave birth to outstanding keyboard music composers such as Bach, Handel, F. Couperin, Rameau, Scarlatti and so on. With the decline of Baroque music and the emergence of piano, the harpsichord was also eliminated by history. In the 20th century, the harpsichord was rediscovered and became one of the important instruments for playing Baroque keyboard music. With the parallel development of the harpsichord and piano, there has been a dispute between “retro” and “modern” performance aesthetics. When playing Baroque keyboard music, which instrument to use has become an important issue. It is generally believed that the piano conforms to the aesthetic concept of modern people, and playing baroque keyboard music on the piano is conducive to the wide dissemination of these works; the harpsichord is of great significance to reproduce the original appearance of the work.
This paper takes the Retroalism and Modernism in the Baroque keyboard music performance as the main line, and uses qualitative and quantitative research to investigate the history and current situation of the current Baroque keyboard music performance style. Using the methods of literature research, historical research, music analysis, comparison and music aesthetics, this paper examines the style differences of various performance versions. Through the investigation and interview of piano learners, piano teachers, experts and professors, combined with the existing research results, this paper analyzes and discusses the performance style of Baroque keyboard music, the performance characteristics of harpsichord and piano in Baroque keyboard music, and the artistic and academic values of retro and modern schools.
Through analysis and comparison, the five independent variables of musical instrument, music score, historical view, performer and performance skill have obvious influence on performance style. In the practice of music, the selection and application of instruments, scores and playing techniques by retroalism and modernism are not completely opposite. The performance style of Baroque keyboard music presents a diversified scene in contemporary times. In view of the trend of the times, music schools in all regions of China should actively introduce the harpsichord, offer elective or specialized courses on harpsichord, study in depth the various performance styles of Baroque keyboard music, learn from the performance techniques of harpsichord, learn new musical performance concepts, constantly innovate performance styles, and cultivate diverse and high-level performance talents.Curricular : GE Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28680 SIU Thesis. In view of the trend of the times, music schools in all regions of China should actively introduce the harpsichord, offer elective or specialized courses on harpsichord, study in depth the various performance styles of Baroque keyboard music, learn from the performance techniques of harpsichord, learn new musical performance concepts, constantly innovate performance styles, and cultivate diverse and high-level performance talents.Curricular : GE Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28680 Hold

[LCSH]Visual perceptionKeywords: Historic districts, Yongqingfang, Landscape, Cultural landscape, Cultural tourism, Visual perception, Landscape preferences, Perception quality, Emotional experience, Wandering path Abstract: Based on theories such as Gestalt Psychology, Art and Visual Perception, Landscape preference theory and Wandering Path, this study investigates the cultural visual perceptual experience of Yongqingfang Historic District, this study provides a different perspective to the study of the renovation design of historic districts, and provides a set of effective methods for the evaluation of the visual perception of the cultural landscape of historic districts. In this study, the Concurrent Triangulation Mixture method was used to collect and analyze the data, include provides a qualitative analysis of tourist online texts and a quantitative analysis using a set of ambient spatial photos from a specific viewpoint of the district. Moreover, the results of the two studies were combined to obtain uniform results. It attempts to answer the question of what are the visual elements that affect the quality of tourists' perception of the cultural landscape of the Yongqingfang Historic District, how the proportion of visual elements of the cultural landscape in the historic districts affects the tourist's visual perception, and how the extent to which the tourist's perception changes during a walk through the historic district affects the tourist's perceptual experience. Finally, through a discussion of the aforementioned research questions, the paper summarizes the effective ways to improve the visual perception quality and assessment of the cultural landscape of historic districts by tourists and suggests some suggestions.
The results show that based on the screening of visual elements of cultural landscapes in historic districts, including material and immaterial culture, and controlling the proportion of cultural visual elements in the landscape at 50% and below, it is conducive to improving the quality of tourists' perception of cultural landscapes. The perceptual changes of multiple landscape nodes along the wandering path in the historic district, such as having a larger span of positive and negative deviation means,
a higher frequency of positive or negative deviation transitions of visual perception values, and a higher frequency of high or low transitions of visual perception values, can bring tourists a richer and more exciting emotional experience of visual perception. The research methods, results and conclusions adopted in this study can provide reference for the renewal design of historic districts and help designers to better grasp the 'figure-ground relationship' between historical and cultural elements and additional elements, which can be achieved by controlling the mean value, deviation value and perceptual rhythm of cultural visual perception in order to achieve a balance, so that the historic and cultural elements of the neighborhood are more easily viewed, recognized
and remembered by tourists.Curricular : BALA/GE/MTEIL Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28660 SIU Thesis. [LCSH]Singing --Instruction and studyKeywords: Vocal Music Psychology, Vocal Technique, Vocal Performance Abstract: Vocal music learners and workers can only have a more comprehensive understanding of their psychological and physiological states during singing by following the general rules of vocal music psychology and combining them with their own individual rules. Only by analyzing the positive and negative psychological states that arise in singing from a professional perspective and mastering good psychological regulation methods can one truly find effective ways to improve one’s professional abilities. From a historical perspective, it has been nearly forty years since Xu Xingxiao proposed the establishment of the discipline of vocal music psychology in 1987. During this period, research on Chinese vocal music psychology has achieved certain results. However, from a practical point of view, at present, most domestic vocal music teachers still pay more attention to skill training than psychological education in the process of vocal teaching. They focus on physiological training and pay less attention to psychology. Some teachers recognize the important role of psychological guidance in vocal teaching, but they mainly rely on experience teaching and have not yet formed a complete and systematic guidance system.
Based on this understanding, this research takes the vocal technique processing and performance of works in vocal music singing as the research object, and uses qualitative research and quantitative research based on the research perspective of vocal music psychology to investigate the vocal technique processing and performance of works of singers in the perspective of vocal music psychology. Use research methods such as literature review, historical research, comparative analysis, and music aesthetics to examine the specific factors that affect the vocal technique processing of singers and the performance of works. Through surveys and interviews with vocal music learners, vocal music teachers, and expert professors,
combined with existing research results, this paper analyzes and discusses the psychological factors that affect the vocal technique processing and performance of works by singers. It is believed that imagination, memory, attention, personal emotions, and personal willpower can have an impact on the questions involved in this study. By collecting first-hand information and data through the distribution of questionnaire surveys, and analyzing the research data, it has been proven that the five independent variables mentioned above are closely related to the performer’s vocal technique processing and performance. On this basis, analyze the psychological process and individual psychological characteristics of vocal performers in the specific singing process, discuss the role of vocal performance psychology in performers’ practice and singing, and explain how to combine the principles and methods of vocal music psychology with vocal practice.
This study aims to conduct an in-depth exploration of the principles and methods of vocal music psychology, providing theoretical support and practical guidance for current vocal practice. Vocal practice requires continuous absorption of new theories, concepts, and methods in order to generate more high-level teaching and performance talents in the future world.Curricular : BALA/GE/MTEIL Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28678 SIU Thesis.
