Abstract: In Thailand, there is no official standard to measure golfer satisfaction for golf tourism in Thailand. A strategic model of golfer satisfaction index represents a uniform system for evaluating, comparing, and improving golfer satisfaction within organizations and industries. The purpose of this study was to develop a strategic model for improving satisfaction of golf tourism in Thailand and identify any significant differences in golf tourists’ perceptions toward service quality, golf course image, perceived value and golfer satisfaction based on demographics.
This study utilized a convenience sampling method to collect data in six golf courses of Thailand. Questionnaires were given to each golf tourist at the reception area of the golf course. Each of six golf courses was allotted 200 questionnaires, which were distributed by field workers who invited golf tourists to participate in this study. From the 1,200 questionnaires distributed, 352 were usable. Golf tourists included 67% male and 33% female. Korean was the nationality of 33% of golf tourists with 19% from Japan, and 13% from Singapore.
This study used Structural Equation Modeling to test the hypotheses and relationships among variables in the proposed strategic model of golfer satisfaction index. In addition, this study used ANOVA to test for significant differences regarding service quality, golf course image, perceived value, and golfer satisfaction based on demographics of gender, nationality, age, education, and annual income.
Statements of golf tourists who responded to open-ended questions during the pilot study as well as the responses from qualitative research’ questions by experts in the golf tourism industry and university educators helped to clarify the meaning of items included in the structured questionnaire. When the items on the final questionnaire matched the top three attributes of the four constructs which were service quality, golf course image, perceived value, and golfer satisfaction of the qualitative research’ findings, it demonstrated that the items on the questionnaires were reliable and valid.
Results indicated that a modified strategic model of golfer satisfaction index provided a uniform means of assessing the golfer satisfaction of golf tourism in Thailand. For golf course owners and managers, this strategic model of golfer satisfaction index could be a useful tool for evaluating golfer satisfaction and would provide a significant complement to conventional improvements of golfer satisfaction.Curricular : BBA/MBA/PhDM Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28539 SIU Thesis. [LCSH]Public expenditure -- China -- Jiangxi -- GovernmentKeywords: China's New-type Urbanization, Efficiency, Public Expenditure, Local Government Abstract: This research is a quantitative research using secondary penal data collected from Jiangxi statistical yearbooks and websites, in which input and output data of NUP process in eleven regions of Jiangxi province can be adapted to measure the efficiency of public expenditure. The research employs Data Envelopment Analysis to measure the relative efficiency including technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency, scale efficiency and Malmquist index of eleven regions(local governments) of Jiangxi province from 2014 to 2019.
Analysis of this research shows that public expenditure efficiency of different regions in Jiangxi Province is different, therefore, those inefficiency regions need to place more emphasis on the efficiency of public expenditure, and gradually establish an efficiency-based mechanism, in order to make limited financial resources play a greater role in the process of NUP.Curricular : BBA/GE/MBA/PhDM Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28438 SIU Thesis. Entrepreneurial Self-EfficacyAbstract: In China, entrepreneurship has become an important driving force for economic development and a national strategy. Promoting college students' entrepreneurship is an urgent need for the country to implement the innovation driven development strategy and improve economic quality and efficiency. It is an important measure to promote the comprehensive reform of higher education and promote the entrepreneurship and employment of college graduates. Under the background of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation", undergraduates' entrepreneurial activities have significant benefits for the cultivation of emerging industries, the development of regional economy and economic transformation and upgrading. As the starting point of entrepreneurial behavior research, entrepreneurial motivation has become the focus of entrepreneurial research all over the world. Although Chinese scholars have done a lot of research on the influencing factors of entrepreneurial behavior, there are still some problems. For example, the influence mechanism of entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial behavior needs to be further discussed, and the role mechanism of entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention in the formation of entrepreneurial behavior needs to be further studied.
Based on the theory of planned behavior and social cognition, using the method of combining theoretical analysis and empirical research, 651 valid questionnaires from 6 universities in Jiangxi Province were collected in order to study the influence mechanism of entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial behavior and discuss the intermediary role of entrepreneurial environment with the application of structural equation and regression analysis.
The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:
Firstly, this paper empirically tested the direct action path of entrepreneurial motivation on undergraduates' entrepreneurial behavior. The study found that entrepreneurial motivation had a significant positive impact on undergraduates' entrepreneurial behavior, and entrepreneurial motivation could significantly promote the occurrence of undergraduates' entrepreneurial behavior.
Secondly, this study introduced entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention as mediators, constructed the relationship model between entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial behavior, and used bootstrap method to test the mediating effect. The results showed that entrepreneurial motivation had a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention; Entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention had significant mediating effect, and produced chain mediating effect.
Thirdly, this research constructed the regulatory effect of entrepreneurial environment, verified the regulatory effect of entrepreneurial environment, and further discussed the mechanism and impact of regulatory effect.
Fourth, it examined the background factors affecting Chinese undergraduates' entrepreneurship. The differences of background factors affecting undergraduates' entrepreneurial behavior in China were obtained. And this study found that there were no significant differences in gender, grade, major and location of family, but students from families with entrepreneurial experience were significantly affected by their parents' professional background.Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28449 SIU Thesis.
