Traditional Arts and Crafts | | Abstract: | This study takes "Research on the development of contemporary lacquer art creation language" as the topic, discusses the development trend and characteristics of contemporary lacquer art creation language, and uses the method of literature, interview and empirical research to conduct in-depth research. It is found that the development of contemporary lacquer art creation language presents the following characteristics: first, diversified, artists have made a variety of experimental attempts on the basis of traditional lacquer art techniques; The other is avant-garde. Some artists try to express their personal opinions and social problems through lacquer art. Third, it is transboundary. Some artists combine lacquer art with other media to present new visual effects and forms of expression.
Traditional arts and crafts play an important role in the contemporary lacquer art creation language, inheriting the traditional techniques and artistic styles of ancient lacquer ware making, and providing an important reference and inspiration for the contemporary lacquer art creation. The evaluation system of contemporary art can learn from the theories and methods of western modern art and examine the artistry and culture of contemporary lacquer art from a diversified perspective.
