This research investigates the impact of animation elements on information transmission within art communication, focusing on narrative techniques. Employing diverse research methodologies such as literature review, case analysis, experimental research, and interviews, the research aims to comprehensively examine theoretical foundations related to animation narrative, its effects on information transmission, and audience's perception. Participants were required to complete a questionnaire and an interview after watching an anime assigned by the author. Different types and styles manifest narrative elements differently in art communication. Results reveal that animation elements effectively convey information, express emotions, and shape perceptions, thereby enhances its effectiveness. Moreover, animation narratives contribute to the diversification of artistic communication forms and content. In conclusion, this research discusses strategies for optimizing the use of animation narratives and enhancing engagement, comprehension, and retention of conveyed information in art communication. These findings provide valuable insights for practitioners and scholars in leveraging animation's narrative power to augment the effectiveness of art communication endeavors.
