Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy | Abstract: | In China, entrepreneurship has become an important driving force for economic development and a national strategy. Promoting college students' entrepreneurship is an urgent need for the country to implement the innovation driven development strategy and improve economic quality and efficiency. It is an important measure to promote the comprehensive reform of higher education and promote the entrepreneurship and employment of college graduates. Under the background of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation", undergraduates' entrepreneurial activities have significant benefits for the cultivation of emerging industries, the development of regional economy and economic transformation and upgrading. As the starting point of entrepreneurial behavior research, entrepreneurial motivation has become the focus of entrepreneurial research all over the world. Although Chinese scholars have done a lot of research on the influencing factors of entrepreneurial behavior, there are still some problems. For example, the influence mechanism of entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial behavior needs to be further discussed, and the role mechanism of entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention in the formation of entrepreneurial behavior needs to be further studied.
Based on the theory of planned behavior and social cognition, using the method of combining theoretical analysis and empirical research, 651 valid questionnaires from 6 universities in Jiangxi Province were collected in order to study the influence mechanism of entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial behavior and discuss the intermediary role of entrepreneurial environment with the application of structural equation and regression analysis.
The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:
Firstly, this paper empirically tested the direct action path of entrepreneurial motivation on undergraduates' entrepreneurial behavior. The study found that entrepreneurial motivation had a significant positive impact on undergraduates' entrepreneurial behavior, and entrepreneurial motivation could significantly promote the occurrence of undergraduates' entrepreneurial behavior.
Secondly, this study introduced entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention as mediators, constructed the relationship model between entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial behavior, and used bootstrap method to test the mediating effect. The results showed that entrepreneurial motivation had a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention; Entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention had significant mediating effect, and produced chain mediating effect.
Thirdly, this research constructed the regulatory effect of entrepreneurial environment, verified the regulatory effect of entrepreneurial environment, and further discussed the mechanism and impact of regulatory effect.
Fourth, it examined the background factors affecting Chinese undergraduates' entrepreneurship. The differences of background factors affecting undergraduates' entrepreneurial behavior in China were obtained. And this study found that there were no significant differences in gender, grade, major and location of family, but students from families with entrepreneurial experience were significantly affected by their parents' professional background. | Record link: | http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28449 |
