The purpose of this paper is to find whether the motivational factors such as recognition, compensation and reward, organization culture, quality of work life, and growth and development motivate the employees of the IT companies in the Kathmandu Valley as well as examine the relationship between those factors with employee retention.
In order to answer these questions, a primary data survey was conducted on 120 respondents working at 5 different IT companies in the Kathmandu Valley. The data were analyzed using statistical tools such as Descriptive analysis, Cronbach Alpha test, Cross Tabulation, Chi-Square test, Correlation analysis and Regression analysis.
From the analysis, it was concluded that there is a very close association and relationship between the motivational factors used as independent variables (recognition, compensation and reward, organization culture, quality of work life, growth and development) with the dependent variable, i.e. employee retention. | Curricular : | BBA/MBA | Record link: | http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=27531 |
