The purpose of this paper is to find whether the motivational factors such as recognition, compensation and reward, organization culture, quality of work life, and growth and development motivate the employees of the IT companies in the Kathmandu Valley as well as examine the relationship between those factors with employee retention.
In order to answer these questions, a primary data survey was conducted on 120 respondents working at 5 different IT companies in the Kathmandu Valley. The data were analyzed using statistical tools such as Descriptive analysis, Cronbach Alpha test, Cross Tabulation, Chi-Square test, Correlation analysis and Regression analysis.
From the analysis, it was concluded that there is a very close association and relationship between the motivational factors used as independent variables (recognition, compensation and reward, organization culture, quality of work life, growth and development) with the dependent variable, i.e. employee retention.Curricular : BBA/MBA Record link: http://libsearch.siu.ac.th/siu/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=27531 SIU IS. Sustainable developmentAbstract: In recent years, the real estate industry has been regarded as a pillar industry of the national economy in China, which has boosted China’s GDP growth. The operational status of the real estate industry can reflect the development of a country’s economy. As the real estate market heats up, the supply and demand in the real estate market have also changed. The change in house prices has become the focus of consumers, affecting the development of the real estate market. Therefore, it is very important to study the supply and demand of the real estate market. This paper takes Fuzhou City in China as an example to study three factors that affect the changes in housing prices in China's real estate industry: GDP, urbanization and local policies. The results of the study indicate that housing prices in Fuzhou are rising, and the reasons for the increase are related to the economic development of the city and local policies and the economic development of the surrounding cities. In order to ensure the stable development of the real estate industry and enable the people to afford the house, this paper puts forward some suggestions for the local government: strengthen the government's real estate management, standardize the housing finance policy, strengthen the land management, and ensure the land supply. In short, the analysis of factors affecting real estate prices will help formulate government policies and promote the healthy and stable development of China's real estate industry. On the one hand, it is reducing poverty and maintaining balance of payment without much domestic efforts in Nepal; on the other hand, it is pushing up inequality and informal economy as well as increasing the threat of Dutch-disease effects. Theoretically, remittance impact to the national economy is still immature to ensure because of its dynamic nature and data collection problem. The arguing point has developed from the research questions whether remittance-policy of productive use as well as quality migrant labor is influential to economic growth of Nepal. Workers’ remittance inflow has a positive impact to increase in GDP even though there is a comparatively weak effect seen in economic growth of Nepal, econometrics analysis point out to some extent. Moreover, this study also finds that using remittance fund for the productive sector and managing quality emigrant’s participation which has indeed influential causal relations putting positive impacts in increasing economic growth through quality remittances income. However, domestic environment like insecurity and land-locked geopolitics and policy factors are crucial to using remittance fund for long term economic growth. Dhamma.Class number: SIU THE: SOM-PhD-2013-02 Abstract: The main purpose of this research is to identify Buddhist doctrines that have been incorporated into human resource development at private healthcare providers in Thailand. Previous research has indicated that school teachers and scholars at the Ministry of Education throughout 2012 Who had pursued Buddhist Dhamma in Their daily work lives found benefits in terms of work performance productivity and attitude from changes in such indicators as moral behavior (defined in terms of Buddhist precepts)and personal hygiene. To investigate whether this approach was employed which featured in-depth individuals and focus groups involving 54 individuals in the hospitals selected as the research sites at all levels of management, in addition to individuals at the operational level. this was supplemented by ethnographic observation of activities at three hospitals which was used to interrogate the interview data further and in some cases to verify it. The results indicate that executive management does attempt to infuse HRD and all aspects of corporate culture with Buddhist ideals and has gone some way towards considering which aspects of Dhamma are suitable for use in this way. This is manifested in a familial perhaps paternalistic management style that also owens a great deal to confucian ideals and is often to be found in Thai companies, particularly those that are family-owned. it is also manifested to physical representatons of Buddhist practice including meditation sessions and Dhamma lessons internally as well as spiritually-infuse corporate social responsibility initiatives externally. The authenticity and value of these practice is examined. Interestingly, with a good determination a transparency policy as well as a generous mind however the high income and reasonable profit it still the rational target of each business Otherwise the entrepreneurs or stakeholders could not survive in this contemporary business world. and if they can stand on their own feet and they can afford themselves then they can look forward to help their staff members and widely spread to community society and the country on their moral basis eventually. The finding reveals that ethics morality and business objectives can go together and they also support to each other. Therefore this study will demonstrate the Buddhist principles which are insightful and applicable in practice of HRD in some healtcare business in Thailand.
